World Tourism Day 2021 – Guwahati | Event Managed by – Trend MMS

Assam Tourism, Govt. of Assam’s World Tourism Day 2021 event at Guwahati was managed by Trend MMS. The day long event was attended by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Hon’ble Tourism Minister of Assam Shri. Bimal Borah, Tourism Officials of the State, top functionaries of the national Tour Operators Associations of India marked their presence in the event and interacted with the tourism stakeholders of Assam. IATO President Mr. Rajiv Mehra, ADTOI President Mr. PP Khanna and the former President of the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) Capt. Swadesh Kumar with local tour operators association, hotel and restaurant association and national media.

A Seminar on “Assam as ideal tourism destination was organized where stakeholders of the tourism industry including tour operators from across the state and country interacted to discuss the revamping of the tourism industry of Assam in a post pandemic era. The daylong frolic has exhibited cultural richness and diversities of the state in the forms of dance, music, craft and food exhibitions and many more.

The grounds of the venue rose in vibrance with the spectacular dance performances of various tribes and communities - Bodo, Mising, Karbi, Dimasa, Gayan Bayan, Bihu and many more.
