North East India Festival, Bangkok. Connecting North East through South East

The 1st Edition of North East India Festival was organized during 7th-9thFebruary, 2019 at Central World, Bangkok. The Festival was the biggest ever attempt by India to promote North East India outside. The Festival was organized at Central World, the most famous Mall of Bangkok.

The festival had the following components: Evening networking dinner with Ambassadors, investors, tourism personalities with North East Govts, stakeholders. Cultural Carnival showcasing best of North East’s dance forms, music, fashion etc. An Exhibition showcasing various States of North East, investment potential, tourism potential etc.  

An Exhibition of craft, tea, cane and bamboo, cuisines of North East. B2B Meet on Tourism which was attended by 115 tour operators based in Bangkok and around 40 North East tour operators. B2B Meet on Trade and investment which was attended by leading traders, investors of Thailand and North East Stakeholders. People to people exchange which was attended by experts, scholars of North East India and Thailand.
